I saw that you can attack oppression with faith.

Feeling oppressed anywhere in your life?  The odds say that you are.  Maybe your finances are “rich” but your marriage is suffering.  Or the other way around.  Maybe you feel like you are being weighed down involuntarily as you gaze upon the political horizon in America…or as you consider the plight of one of your children…or your future.  I saw the personality of “Oppression” viciously dictating its ill will.

Sure, believers are “already free” to the uttermost through Christ.  And, we are all in a process of conquering one form of oppression after another too, making that already free more and more apparent.  God is our Help and He won’t quit until our already free is held out like a blazing torch for all the world to see.

We’re told, “Fight the good fight of faith…” (1 Timothy 6:12).

God would have you to believe His audacious Words of life and victory – in the face of any oppressive thing, even a tomb – to such a degree that you speak to that unjust circumstance, saying what He says.  It was revealed to me that when you do this you are doing violence to oppression, attacking evil.  Come on now, this is real “work” that produces tangible and pleasing results!

How long?  How long do you believe God’s “incredible” words and speak them toward what is oppressing you?  Until the oppression vacates your life (James 4:7)!  Oh, and by the way, this process will change you, revealing Christ to others.
