Merry Christmas, 2024 ! 

Rejoice!

Mat. 1:20  … an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 
Mat. 1:21  She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”

He came to die in my/your place for the penalty of the guilt of my/your sins, so that our names could be written in heaven!

Luke 10:19  Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. 
Luke 10:20  Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”  (italics mine)

Luke 10:19, 
“authority,” G1849, is “ex-oo-see’-ah” in the Bible’s original language and helps us arrive at English words like, “Exorcism.”  It means “mastery [over].”
“power,” G1411, is “doo’-nam-is” in the original language and it means “supernatural power.”    (Strong’s Concordance)

There is an enemy of mankind in the earth with supernatural power!  When we are submitted (surrendered) to Jesus, His mastery [given us] over the enemy is seen.  Jesus is the Prince of Peace, so it does not conflate the truth to say peace on earth is His victory.  His Word says He desires all people to live quiet, peaceful lives in holiness and teaches that this facilitates the spreading of the Gospel, the expansion of Christ’s Kingdom.

And yet, we so often see that it is disaster, not bliss, that causes people to turn to the Lord (says the 9/11 air traffic controller who came to Jesus because of that fateful day).

On 12/12/2024, my journal records that I woke before sunrise and greeted Jesus, asking to hear His Voice.  The next thing I know, I’m seeing a map of the state of California with its coastline in red alert status.  10 days later, headlines and articles manifest the same, “50 foot waves pound entire California coast, prompting many rescues.”  And, “Parade of West Coast storms bring life-threatening surf to Pacific Coast.”  This article included a map with California’s coast in life-threatening warning status … and when I read/saw it, I certainly acknowledged God as the Source of my insight.  (been praying for human safety)

I believe that fresh sequence of events was meant to encourage me to speak up now, as virtually the same type of thing happened on Christmas Eve morning when I woke.  This time, the answer I saw in response to my earnest plea to hear my Savior’s Voice was “World War 3 is happening.”

Reminds me of a sermon I delivered in September of this year that relayed God’s Voice, “America’s season of opulence and decadence is over.”

So your presidential candidate won?  If you are counting on him to provide you a Golden Age of peace and prosperity, your hope and discernment are misplaced.  I believe the President-Elect will prove to be like a winter coat that saves America from its enemies, even from a cold and dark and bitter economic scenario, IF God’s children will humble themselves in repentance from their sins.

I mean, at this point, that’s a best case scenario.

Through the coming seasons, remind yourself that your name is written in heaven and rejoice.  Submit to God and be at peace with Him.  By delighting in God’s Word, you align yourself with Him and are much more apt ending up in what He has promised:  A secure home, undisturbed rest & a peaceful dwelling. 

He has had me issue warning like this before:

Jer. 22:2  … ‘Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, who sits on the throne of David, you, and your servants, and your people who enter these gates. 
Jer. 22:3  Thus says the LORD: Do justice and righteousness, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed. And do no wrong or violence to the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place. 
Jer. 22:4  For if you will indeed obey this word, then there shall enter the gates of this house kings who sit on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they and their servants and their people. 
Jer. 22:5  But if you will not obey these words, I swear by myself, declares the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation. 
Jer. 22:6  For thus says the LORD concerning the house of the king of Judah: “‘You are like Gilead to me, like the summit of Lebanon, yet surely I will make you a desert, an uninhabited city. 
Jer. 22:7  I will prepare destroyers against you, each with his weapons, and they shall cut down your choicest cedars and cast them into the fire…” (Biblically, cedars can represent ‘royal’ leaders)
